University of Oxford's Humanities Division at the Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities invites an experienced programming and engagement manager to lead its new schools engagement programme, serving schools, children, young people and educators.
This role requires energetic, proactive collaboration with divisional leadership, academics and professional services to develop an exciting programme and deliver a range of activities for learners of all ages.

The Humanities Division is seeking an experienced programming and engagement manager to develop and lead the Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities’ new schools engagement programme. This role is an excellent opportunity for an energetic, proactive and collaborative individual who is passionate about the many ways in which the arts and humanities can benefit the lives, education and future careers of young people and educators.
As an experienced manager of engagement programmes for schools and young people, you will develop, coordinate and deliver a sector-leading schools engagement programme grounded in humanities research. To do this, you will
This role is a transformative opportunity for candidates with prior experience as an arts and humanities educator or learning and engagement manager with significant experience in a learning and outreach or youth engagement programming in the cultural sector. Knowledge of Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 curricula and familiarity with GCSE and A Level programmes will be an advantage once in post.
Applicants will be required to successfully pass a DBS check and pre-employment screening prior to appointment.
