Job summary

Outwood Grange Academies Trust’s Outwood Academy Riverside is seeking a Site Supervisor to safeguard and maintain the school environment. You will manage opening and closing, lettings, and routine checks to keep the site secure, tidy and fit for purpose for students and staff.

The role covers cleaning, porterage, grounds work, and minor repairs, with support from the Facilities Manager. Applicants should have experience in building maintenance, good time management, and strong communication,

Qualifications

• Experience of general building and site maintenance.
• Good time management and organisation skills.
• Ability to communicate with a wide range of audiences.
• Understanding of academy child safeguarding procedures.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the premises and manage lettings.
• Check for damage or security issues every morning.
• Carry out internal cleaning and general porterage.
• Grounds maintenance including sweeping yards and removing moss from hard surfaces.
• Undertake minor repairs and report major defects to the Facilities Manager.
