Job summary

Ridgewood School is recruiting an Assistant Site Supervisor to support the Site Manager in organising the site team, scheduling duties and providing cover during holidays and call-outs. The post involves maintaining records for repairs, managing resources and assisting with building maintenance and audit programmes.

You will help ensure security, heating and lighting operations, and coordinate with contractors and cleaners to keep the site safe, tidy and efficient.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management or school site operations.
• Ability to schedule staff and coordinate with contractors.
• Awareness of health and safety requirements in school environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with organising site staff and daily deployment.
• Provide cover for site operations during holidays and emergencies.
• Maintain records for maintenance, repairs and resources.
• Assist with building maintenance: planning, orders and inspections.
• Support rolling audit of furniture and site safety.
• Handle security tasks including key holder duties and alarm response.
• Support heating, lighting and energy efficiency management.
• Coordinate with DMBC contractors and on-site teams.
