Job summary

Crosslee Community Primary School is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee all aspects of the school premises. The role involves maintaining a safe and operational environment, leading the premises team, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Start date is as soon as possible with permanent, all-year-round terms. Salary ranges from Grade 5 Scale Points 13 to 19 (£29,064 - £32,061) per year and hours are 35 per week.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a premises team and delivering high-quality service.
• Proactive in hazard identification and safe working practices.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation and compliance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the team and contribute to the achievement of its objectives, supporting the school in ensuring a suitable and safe environment
• Be proactive to identify hazards and complete tasks in line with safe working practices and health and safety regulations
• Manage the premises team to deliver high-quality service by monitoring performance and standards
• Share their expertise and full working knowledge of relevant legislation and health and safety procedures
• Manage, maintain, monitor and evidence safe, effective and efficient operation of all aspects of the site including record keeping and the completion of compliance tasks
