A leading educational institution is seeking a Site Manager to ensure the security and health of the school premises. This part-time role involves overseeing building maintenance, working closely with management, and contributing to a welcoming environment for students and staff. Ideal candidates will possess DIY skills, be flexible, and enjoy working in a school setting.
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and self motivated Site Manager to join their wonderful and happy school. The successful candidate will: be honest, reliable, hardworking and well organised. They will be able to work on their own initiative have good DIY and premises skills and be able to carry out minor repairs and jobs competently. Our new site Manager will be flexible, cheerful and enjoy working with children, parents, governors and staff.
The main duties of the role will include:
Security of the school's building and grounds.
Health and Safety of the site.
Organising and monitoring the work of contractors.
Liaising closely with the school Office Manager on Statutory requirements, ensuring that the school is complying with current legislation/guidelines.
Building maintenance and repairs.
Ordering supplies and monitoring stock control.
Contributing positively to the maintenance of a clean, tidy, well presented and safe environment at all times.
Supporting the Leadership team with exciting school projects and initiatives

The post will require an enhanced DBS check.
The successful applicant will be expected to work 5 days per week. The hours are 30 per week. The contract is 52 weeks per year with 25 days paid holiday taken in school holidays + bank holidays. This rises to 29 days holiday after 5 years service. The job involves working a split morning and afternoon shift.
This role will require a morning shift of 7.30am to 10.30am then back for 14.45 to 17.45.
This vacancy may suit a semi-retired person with flexibility in their day.
