Job summary

Winner Education in Birmingham is seeking an Assistant Site Manager for a West Brom school to perform day-to-day maintenance and site work. The role is full-time at 37.5 hours weekly on a temporary placement with potential to become permanent; ASAP start; DBS on update service required.

You will liaise with contractors, open/close buildings, conduct safety checks, and support the site team. Successful candidates will have school caretaking experience and present a professional image.

Qualifications

• Experience in school caretaking or facilities upkeep.
• DBS on update service is required.
• Flexible with hours and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance and DIY works around the school site.
• Deal with external contractor visits and liaising with contractors through any major works
• Open and close the school buildings
• Move furniture/equipment when required
• Fire safety checks
• Legionella checks
