Job summary

Hours: 37 per week, full year with 29 days annual leave plus bank holidays. Usual shifts 12:00–20:00, with on-call duties, training for Fire Warden, and opportunities for professional development within a dedicated Estates team.

Qualifications

• Maintenance and site upkeep duties for a school environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Commitment to safeguarding children and health & safety.
• Willingness to undertake physical tasks, gardening and basic repairs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the security of the school site, including out-of-hours emergencies.
• Keep the site clean, safe and aesthetically maintained.
• Provide support for day-to-day operations, lettings and events.
• Undertake minor maintenance and repairs using appropriate tools.
• Deliver mail and parcels around the campus.
• Act as Fire Warden and participate in drills.
