Job summary

Prince Albert Community Trust (PACT) is seeking an Assistant Building Site Supervisor (Caretaker) to join Birchfield Primary School and potentially other Trust sites. The role focuses on providing a clean, safe and secure environment for staff, pupils and visitors, with a 36.5-hour week across the year.

You will carry out routine maintenance, oversee site cleanliness, support health and safety procedures and liaise with contractors.

Qualifications

• Experience of using power tools.
• Knowledge of maintenance and cleaning techniques.
• Able to accept and follow instructions from SLT, Directors and Building Services Site Manager.
• Flexible to working shift patterns when required.
• Basic IT skills.

• Demonstrate a high level of service and professionalism.
• Be committed to ensuring the safety and security of staff, pupils, and visitors.
• Carry out routine maintenance and repairs.
• Oversee site cleanliness and ensure facilities are well-presented.
• Support with health and safety compliance and emergency procedures.

• Be flexible and responsive to the needs of the school community.
