This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in keeping a school safe, secure and running smoothly.
You don't necessarily need years of school site experience. We're equally interested in people from maintenance, facilities, caretaking, estates or similar practical backgrounds who have the right attitude and would enjoy working as part of a school community.
As a School Site Assistant, you'll help with the day-to-day running and upkeep of the school site.
Your duties are likely to include:
You could already be working as a Site Assistant, Caretaker, Premises Assistant, Facilities Assistant or Maintenance Operative.
Alternatively, you may have practical maintenance or facilities experience and be looking for an opportunity to move into a school environment.

Previous experience within a school would be an advantage, but we're happy to hear from candidates with transferable experience.
As this position involves working within a school, successful candidates will be subject to the appropriate safeguarding and compliance checks, including an Enhanced DBS check.
