Didsbury High School is seeking an Applied Science Technician to support practical lessons, prepare materials and maintain safe, tidy teaching spaces. The role is 35 hours per week, term-time only, with work primarily when the school is open to pupils.

You will ensure equipment is set up and returned, and contribute to a positive learning environment by supporting teachers and pupils with hands-on science activities and demonstrations.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Ensure materials/equipment are set up ready for practical lessons and retrieved after use.
• Keep teaching areas and equipment safe and tidy.
