Job summary

Winterhill School is seeking a dedicated Child Protection Officer to manage safeguarding across the school. You will build strong relationships with students and staff to promote welfare and safety, ensuring compliance with statutory duties and the Trust safeguarding policies.

You will work closely with external safeguarding partners and DBS processes to support a safe school environment and deliver continuous improvement in safeguarding practices.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for day-to-day safeguarding and child protection matters at the school.
• Develop strong relationships with young people to support their welfare.
• Coordinate with multi-agency safeguarding partners to ensure effective protection.
