Job summary

Wymondham College requires a strong administrator who has pastoral and safeguarding experience working with children and/or young adults to become our Safeguarding Co‑ordinator, to support the Assistant Principal and other pastoral/safeguarding staff to deliver a highly effective safeguarding service within the College.

This fixed term maternity cover is part time (30 hours per week, term time only) starting September 2026.

Qualifications

• Strong administrator with pastoral and safeguarding experience.
• Experience working with children and/or young adults.
• Ability to support safeguarding services within College.
• Willingness to undergo required safeguarding checks.

Responsibilities

• Support the Assistant Principal and safeguarding staff to deliver an effective safeguarding service.
• Coordinate safeguarding processes and DBS checks as required.
• Assist in safeguarding training and policy implementation within the College.
