Job summary

Sayes Court Primary School in Surrey, part of Bourne Education Trust, seeks a Premises Assistant to support safeguarding, safety and security of the school premises. Contract is permanent, 35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, with shift options: 7am-10:30am & 3pm-6:30pm, or 7am-3pm with an unpaid 1 hour break. Start ASAP.

• Maintain a programme of site testing and inspections to ensure statutory compliance under the guidance of the School Business Leader
• Identify issues quickly by carrying out regular inspections of all indoor and outdoor areas, providing written reports/action plans as required
• Support an effective out of hours emergency system in place
• Ensure the security of the school, including locking and unlocking
