School Premises Manager

Band D (£28,371 - £32,909) - 37 hours a week / Full-time

Monday to Thursday: 7.15am - 10.30am and 2pm - 6.15pm

Friday: 7.15am - 10.15am and 2.15pm - 6.15pm

Permanent (required to start as soon as possible)

Our Lady of Compassion School, part of Our Lady and All Saints MAC, is looking for a dynamic and self-motivated Site Manager to join our school team of staff. We are looking for an approachable person with good interpersonal skills, an engaging professional committed to work alongside a friendly and hardworking team to support the children in their care.

The successful candidate will:

  • Support the values and ethos of Our Lady of Compassion School
  • Have experience of working in a school environment
  • Be responsible for maintaining clean, safe and secure school premises, which includes buildings and grounds
  • Take appropriate action to identify, evaluate and minimise any risks to health, safety and security in the school working environment
  • Comply with school’s policies and procedures
  • Establish constructive relationships and communication with all staff and other professionals
  • Recognise own strengths and areas of expertise and use these to advise and support others
  • Participate in training and other learning activities and performance development as required
  • Be able to work under own initiative
  • Be a reflective and flexible practitioner
  • Work effectively with our staff team at OLC
