Job Title: School Operations Manager

Grade: 3B SCP 25-28

Hours: Full Time, 36 hours, Term Time + 5 days

Contract Type: Permanent

Start Date: As soon as possible

The Governors of Broadoak Primary School are seeking to appoint a School Operations Manager to join our single Academy Trust as a key member of our team, providing operational excellence, working closely with school staff to maintain high standards of compliance, health and safety, facilities management, HR administration and business operations.

This role would suit an experienced School Operations Manager, School Business Manager or someone with relevant operational management experience within the public / private sector who is interested in a role in education. You will provide operational leadership across a broad range of business support functions, ensuring systems, processes and compliance requirements are effectively delivered.

We wish to appoint someone who:

• Has relevant leadership and management experience in the key areas of:

Health & Safety / Facilities Management / Human Resources / ICT

• Is numerate and ICT literate, with a good knowledge of computerised information systems and databases. Has experience in developing and applying policies within their organisation.
• Is professional, self‑motivated and an excellent communicator, with proven line management experience who works well as part of a team
• Has a desire to uphold and actively promote the school’s vision and values

We wish to appoint someone who will:

• Put pupils first in everything they do to ensure the school provides quality services for all our stakeholders and strives for continuous improvement to that service.
• Provide leadership and support to the Headteacher across many non‑teaching areas of the school.
