Job summary

Cantrell Primary and Nursery School, part of Transform Trust, is seeking an Operations Manager to run the school office and oversee HR, payroll and other administrative, financial and organisational processes in the school. You will work closely with the Head Teacher and the Transform Trust central team to ensure finance and HR tasks are completed accurately and promptly.

You will contribute to planning, development and monitoring of support services and supervision of support staff, including

  • General office or similar experience, ideally in an educational setting.

  • Ability to carry out routine and more difficult financial calculations.
  • Ability to interpret data/information and present to senior staff clearly.

You will contribute to the planning, development and monitoring of support services and/or management of support staff, including delegation of relevant activities. The role will also involve supporting the Senior Management Team by enabling effective strategic decision making.

We pride ourselves on our caring, nurturing approach and going the 'extra-mile' to help children and their families. We are a community school, with several of the staff living in the neighbourhood and some even having attended here as pupils.
