Job summary

Kirklees Council advertises a permanent school administration role for Horbury Bridge Academy. You’ll join a nurturing trust, handling admin tasks, HR records and safeguarding duties while supporting site operations and finance processes.

The post is full-time, term-time plus 10 days, at NJC SCP 12, with pension scheme options and wellbeing benefits. Start ASAP; closing date 25 September 2026, interviews 28 September.

Qualifications

• Can manage key school administration tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Is organised, proactive and able to prioritise a varied workload.
• Communicates clearly with staff, parents, contractors and the Trust team.
• Can handle finance processes such as invoices, payments and basic reconciliations.
• Is confident managing HR admin, staff records and required census returns.
• Pays attention to safeguarding, data protection and health & safety compliance.
• Can support site operations, lettings and contractor liaison when needed.
• Is flexible, reliable and committed to supporting the smooth running of the school.
