Outcomes First Group is recruiting an Occupational Therapist for OFG Education. The role involves delivering holistic therapy to students, conducting assessments, preparing reports and sensory profiles, and training staff and partners within a multidisciplinary team.

The position emphasizes safeguarding, research and continuous professional development in an educational setting. Applicants should be HCPC registered with RCOT or RCSLT, have experience with intellectual disabilities/autism, and

Qualifications

• Registered with HCPC and RCSLT or RCOT.
• Awareness of sensory integration or sensory regulation approaches.
• Experience working with children and/or adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism.
• Ability to collaborate with a range of key partners.
• Strong conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement a holistic, therapeutic, and dynamic approach to support students in daily life.
• Ensure students are safe, comfortable, and have occupational and sensory needs met.
• Conduct standardised and non-standardised assessments, bespoke interventions, and prepare reports and sensory profiles.
• Provide training and information to staff, commissioners, and other agencies as needed.
