Join Our Team as a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse - School Nurse.

Are you passionate about improving the health and wellbeing of children and young people? We have an exciting opportunity for you to make a real difference in the Bury Community.

In this key role as a School Nurse within our dedicated 5-19 years team, you'll take the lead in providing exceptional care to children and teens aged 5 to 19. You'll be responsible for operational and strategic management of a defined caseload, ensuring high-quality care is delivered in line with the Health Child Programme.

Collaboration is at the heart of what we do! Work alongside a multidisciplinary team to create a holistic approach to health and wellbeing. You'll play a critical role in identifying and safeguarding vulnerable children and their families, partnering with other agencies to ensure every child gets the support they need.

But that's not all! As a School Nurse, you'll also manage the development, implementation, and compliance of essential policies and procedures, including appraisals, personal development plans, and clinical supervision.

Join us in our mission to promote health and wellness among the young people in our community. You'll find a supportive environment that values your expertise and provides opportunities for professional growth.

If you're ready to embark on a rewarding journey and shape a healthier future for children and young people, we want to hear from you.

Are you driven by the desire to help children and young people thrive? We’re looking for a passionate individual to work within a dynamic, multi-agency environment, empowering children and adolescents to realize their full potential—physically, emotionally, and socially—through quality education and healthy lifestyles.

In this rewarding role, you’ll be tasked with developing, leading, and delivering a variety of essential services tailored to children and their families within a diverse corporate caseload. Your work will directly impact the lives of many, helping families navigate their health journeys and encouraging positive, healthy choices.

As a vital part of our team, you will provide a robust public health-based service aimed at improving the health outcomes of children and families in Bury. You will work collaboratively with partners to ensure the effective delivery of the Healthy Child Programme, making realizable improvements in the community's health standards.

Additionally, you will manage a safeguarding caseload, overseeing child protection efforts, ensuring safety and wellbeing for all children in your care. Alongside these responsibilities, you will provide invaluable line management support within your team, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.

If you are ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families, we’d love to hear from you.
