Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging multi-sport coaching sessions tailored to different age groups within the school setting.
• Lead football training programmes, encouraging skill development and sportsmanship among participants.
• Foster a safe and inclusive environment that promotes participation and enjoyment for all children.
• Monitor and assess individual progress, providing constructive feedback to support skill improvement.
• Maintain organised equipment and ensure all sporting activities adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and pupils regarding programme activities and progress.
• Promote teamwork, discipline, and positive behaviour during all coaching sessions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching, preferably with children or young people.
• Strong knowledge of football and other popular sports suitable for school-age children.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage young learners.
• Organised, reliable, and able to plan sessions that are both fun and educational.
• Ability to work flexibly within school hours, including after-school programmes if required.
• A recognised coaching qualification or relevant sports-related qualification is desirable but not essential.
• A positive attitude with a genuine passion for promoting physical activity among children.

This role requires an enhanced DBS check which company will carry out.

Pay: £12.71-£16.00 per hour
