Job summary

You will join Young Women’s Football Academy in the Plymouth area as a Football Coach, delivering engaging training sessions and leading team practices. You’ll design age-appropriate programs, emphasize safety, discipline and teamwork, and provide feedback to help players grow on and off the field.

Experience in football coaching is preferred, with a focus on mentoring youth and creating positive sporting environments. Role is on-site with parking available.

Qualifications

• Proven coaching experience in football or team sports.
• Clear communication and ability to motivate diverse groups.
• Knowledge of football rules, techniques, tactics, and safety standards.
• Ability to plan structured training sessions balancing skill development with fun.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with players, parents, and staff.

• Provide constructive feedback to players to enhance their skills and confidence
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during all training activities

Qualifications

• Proven sports coaching experience, preferably in football or similar team sports
• Strong teaching skills with the ability to communicate clearly and motivate diverse groups of athletes
• Knowledge of football rules, techniques, tactics, and safety standards
• Ability to plan structured training sessions that balance skill development with fun and engagement
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with players, parents, and staff
• Certification in first aid or sports safety is a plus but not required
• Passion for mentoring youth and fostering a positive sporting environment

Pay: £10.00-£15.00 per hour
