Job summary

Rising Stars Football Academy is seeking a passionate Football Coach to join our team in Birmingham. This in-person, part-time role focuses on developing young players' skills, teamwork, discipline and sportsmanship, with sessions held in the evenings and on weekends.

You will plan sessions, teach football techniques and rules, assess progress and provide constructive feedback while ensuring a safe training environment and strong communication with players and parents.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sports coaching, preferably football.
• Strong understanding of football techniques and conditioning.
• Excellent communication skills to motivate players.

Duties

• Organise team meetings and communicate effectively with players, parents, and other coaching staff.
• Ensure the safety of all participants during training sessions and matches.
• Collaborate with other coaches to develop comprehensive training programmes tailored to various skill levels.

Experience

• Proven experience in sports coaching, preferably within football or a related field.
• Strong understanding of football tactics, techniques, and physical conditioning.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire players.
• Experience in educating young athletes about the sport is highly desirable.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required for training sessions and matches.
