Epsom College is seeking an efficient and presentable driver to support its home-to-school transport routes. The role requires a clean D1 minibus licence, safe driving, and safeguarding awareness, with duties covering pre-journey checks and pupil transport during term time.

The successful candidate will work around 23.5 hours per week during term time, primarily mornings and evenings, and will liaise with staff to coordinate timings and pupil numbers.

Qualifikationen

• Valid and clean D1 driving licence for minibuses and school vehicles in the UK.
• Medically fit and able to maintain vehicle records.
• Ability to comply with health and safety requirements and to ensure roadworthiness.
• Experience driving minibuses/large vehicles is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Visually check minibuses before journeys and ensure adequate tyres and fuel.
• Drive safely with due care and attention for pupils and staff on board.
• Liaise with academic staff to confirm timings and pupil numbers.
• Transport senior pupils unsupervised and junior pupils with staff supervision.
• Report vehicle concerns to appropriate staff and undertake safeguarding duties.
