Do you believe every child deserves to be a confident reader? Join Cornerstone Academy Trust as a School Librarian and help foster a lifelong love of books in our vibrant, modern school libraries.

We have more than one position available. We are flexible on the number of days you are able to work in the week, but the days must be full 8:30am to 5:00pm days.

Each school has a dedicated and well-stocked library which opens before the school day, during lunchtimes, and for a period after school finishes so that children and parents are encouraged to come and enjoy what the libraries have to offer.

Your Role

• Mentor and tutor children across the curriculum and in pastoral care.

• Manage and maintain a well-stocked, welcoming library space.

• Assist in the delivery of the targeted teaching of reading through appropriate phonics programmes

• Support pupils in choosing and tracking their reading.

• Organise author visits and reading events.

• Collaborate with staff to promote high-quality texts and reading culture.

What You’ll Bring

What We Offer

• Salary: From £22,500 (actual, based on 40 weeks)

• (FTE: £26,100 for all-year-round equivalent
