Job summary

Etone College is seeking a Catering Assistant to join our busy kitchen team at Leicester Road, Nuneaton. The role is 37 hours per week during term time, with shifts Monday to Thursday 07:00-15:00 and Friday 07:30-15:00.

The pro rata salary is £21,993.64 (FTE £25,570.00) with a start date in November 2026. The Catering Assistant will support the Head Chef with meal production, kitchen hygiene and adherence to Matrix Academy Trust policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy kitchen environment.
• Ability to work as part of a team and collaboratively.
• Excellent organisational and service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Chef in meal production and kitchen hygiene.
• Support smooth running of central kitchen and bistro.
• Follow Matrix Academy Trust policies on temperature checks, food labelling and dating.
