Job summary

ISS Facilities Services is seeking a Catering Supervisor to join our school kitchen team in Emsworth. You will lead and support the preparation and service of nutritious lunchtime meals, ensuring smooth operation and high standards of service.

You will supervise catering staff, assist with preparation and cooking, serve meals, maintain cleanliness, and ensure kitchen equipment is kept in excellent condition.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support catering staff to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the kitchen.
• Assist with the preparation, cooking and service of meals in line with agreed menus and standards.
• Ensure high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and health and safety are maintained at all times.
• Monitor portion control, food quality and service standards to provide a positive dining experience.
• Support stock control processes, including ordering, receiving and storing food and catering supplies.
• Support the organisation of daily kitchen operations to ensure meals are prepared and served efficiently.
