Job summary

Thomas Franks is offering a full-time, permanent Kitchen Porter role at Ashtead Park, Ashtead, Surrey. The role involves helping keep the kitchen hygienic and safe, supporting chefs with basic food prep, and maintaining high cleanliness standards across equipment and work areas.

On-site parking is available and shifts are 40 hours per week. Experience with pot wash duties is preferred, along with a can-do attitude and good English communication.

Qualifications

• Experience of pot wash duties would be an advantage.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Great team player.
• Be able to help the Chefs with some food prep.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness at all times.
• Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment.
• Clean allocated pieces of heavy catering equipment using instructions and cleaning materials including air filter and extraction systems.
• Operate industrial dishwasher.

Responsibilities

• Keep the kitchen hygienic, safe and up to high standards of cleanliness.
• Support chefs with basic food preparation as required.
• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen equipment and work areas.
• Operate the industrial dishwasher and assist with pot wash duties as needed.
