Job summary

Thomas Franks Ltd in London is seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our established team at a prestigious Kensington location. This term-time focused role supports chefs, maintains high standards of cleanliness, and contributes to a smooth kitchen operation.

You will work 32 hours per week across Monday to Friday under a full-time, permanent contract. Experience with pot wash is helpful, and the role includes free meals on duty, staff discounts, and training by a leading contract caterer.

Qualifications

• Experience of pot wash duties would be an advantage.
• Great team player.
• Be able to help the Chefs with some food prep.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness at all times.
• Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment.
• Clean allocated pieces of heavy catering equipment using instructions and cleaning materials including air filter and extraction systems.
• Operate industrial dishwasher.

Responsibilities

• Kitchen Porter responsibilities include maintaining hygiene and safety in the kitchen.
• Assist chefs with basic food preparation as needed.
• Ensure all equipment and areas are clean and well maintained.
• Operate the industrial dishwasher and manage waste and washing duties.
