Job summary

Holroyd Howe is seeking a reliable Kitchen Porter to join the kitchen team at RGS Surrey Hills. This is a full-time position offering a 5-day working week and a great opportunity to support busy educational catering environments.

You will help maintain cleanliness, assist with basic food prep, operate dishwashers, and uphold health and allergen controls while contributing to a safe, efficient kitchen in a school setting. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience or training is beneficial but not essential.
• Willingness to work in education or high-profile catering environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
• Assist chefs with basic food prep and stock deliveries
• Operate dishwashers and ensure proper sanitation practices
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times
• Support the team in daily kitchen operations and setup for service
• Accountability for following and championing allergen controls
