Job summary

Thomas Franks Ltd. is seeking an experienced Chef Manager to lead the catering team at our Perth site. The role is full-time, permanent, with a 40-hour week and a salary of £36,000. It is a term-time only position with parking on site.

You will work closely with the operations manager to ensure high standards of catering and hospitality, while managing budgets and delivering outstanding service to staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering excellent food standards.
• Hands-on Catering Manager leading team in production and service.
• Proven ability to communicate with clients and deliver objectives.
• Competent computer skills and familiarity with standard software.
• High level of written and spoken English.
• Strong customer service ethos with a track record of success.
• Ability to work in a team and motivate others.
• Analytical thinking and structured information gathering.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day production and service for member and staff dining across the site.
• Deliver client and company budgets and assist in budget reporting (P&L).
• Develop and implement dining and hospitality facilities aligned with client expectations.
• Oversee day-to-day operations across catering facilities year-round.
• Coach and develop staff; maintain standards and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety and PVG processes.
