Job summary

Chartwells is seeking an ambitious Chef to join our team on a full-time basis, contracted to 35 hours per week across 43.8 weeks per year. You will prepare and serve high-quality food, support menu changes and food concepts, and ensure excellent customer service within a market-leading education catering provider in the UK.

We look for a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent, kitchen supervision experience, and a valid Food Hygiene certificate.

Qualifications

• Experience in preparing high-quality food for diverse clients.
• Experience supervising a kitchen team.
• Hold a valid Food Hygiene certificate.
• Ability to implement menu changes and adapt to feedback.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality meals for clients and customers.
• Oversee and implement menu changes.
• Identify opportunities to improve food services.
• Respond to customer feedback to enhance offerings.
• Create new menus and food concepts.
• Represent Chartwells and maintain a positive brand image.
• Manage stock and kitchen cleanliness to ensure hygiene.
