Norse Catering in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Cook Manager for Sparhawk First School. The role is term-time only, 38 weeks per year, with 27.25 hours weekly (Mon-Thu 7.45am–1.45pm, Fri 8.00am–1.15pm). The salary is £27,001.58 pro rata, equating to £13.31 per hour, plus 28 days holiday.

You will lead the kitchen team, plan and serve meals, and ensure food safety and budget targets are met while supporting pupils and staff with a positive dining experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy kitchen with good organisational skills.
• Understanding of food industry costs and budgeting.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.

Responsabilités

• Manage the kitchen team and oversee lunch service for pupils and staff.
• Prepare, cook and serve healthy meals within budget and time frames.
• Ensure food safety, health and safety compliance and allergen awareness.
