Job summary

Emersons Green Primary School in Bristol is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead the school catering service and ensure nutritious, delicious meals for pupils.

We are looking for an individual with school kitchen experience who can support the kitchen manager, promote healthy eating, and adapt to ensure smooth lunchtime operations while communicating well with children and staff. This is a permanent, part-time role (30 hours/week, term-time only, 39 weeks) with a start date as soon as possible.

Qualifications

• Has experience of working in a school kitchen environment.
• Can support the kitchen manager in running an effective lunch service.
• Can assist in the promotion of healthy eating.
• Flexible and able to adapt to ensure a smooth running of our lunch service.
• Maintains a calm and consistent approach when working with the children.
