Aspens Services is seeking a Cook for one of our schools in Leicester. You will bring our menus to life by preparing nutritious, tasty meals using fresh ingredients and your craft skills.

We value safety and quality, with a strong focus on health & safety and food hygiene. A valid UK Driving Licence and a Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate are preferred; training is offered. This role fits a Monday–Friday term-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in education catering and using fresh ingredients.
• Certificate in Food Hygiene Level 2 is preferred; training offered.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Creative Menu Execution: Preparing provided menus with craft skills.
• Safety Champion: Ensuring compliance with food hygiene, allergens, and health & safety.
• Hospitality Production: Delivering high-quality hospitality requests for events.
• Building Connections: Developing relationships with school clients and students.
• Service with a Smile: Providing friendly customer service to everyone.
