Job summary

Caterlink is hiring a Chef at Orchard Primary School in West Yorkshire to deliver nutritious, tasty meals during term-time. The role offers 23.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with no weekends.

You will prepare and present food to Caterlink and client standards, follow Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures, manage inventories and budgets with your line manager, and help maintain an excellent service reputation.

Qualifications

• Level 2 catering is desirable or experience in a similar position

Responsibilities

• To prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client
• To ensure that all Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures are followed and all mandatory paperwork is completed accurately and with integrity
• To ensure that the company’s reputation for excellent food and service is enhanced with the client and customers and expectations are consistently exceeded.
• To support your line manager with the day-to-day running of the location including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans
