Job summary

Education Authority (Northern Ireland) is seeking a Catering Manager to lead day-to-day kitchen operations across dining services for children, young people and staff. You will supervise the catering team and manage menus, safety, and service delivery.

You will ensure HACCP, COSHH and Natasha's Law compliance, monitor food temperatures and stock, and oversee equipment in a busy school kitchen. The role requires strong leadership and collaborative working with school partners.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a kitchen in a catering service is beneficial.
• Knowledge of HACCP, COSHH and Natasha's Law compliance.

Responsibilities

• Execute skilled cooking activities and manage menus, portion control and presentation.
• Organise and supervise all aspects of food service and dining centre operations.
• Ensure food safety compliance, allergen management and temperature records.
• Manage deliveries, stock, wastage, and equipment maintenance.
• Promote the catering service and build relationships with schools and customers.
• Lead and develop Catering Assistants and supervise staff rotas and performance.
