Job summary

Holroyd Howe is seeking enthusiastic Kitchen and catering assistants to support day-to-day food and service delivery at one of our elite boarding schools in West Sussex. The role involves preparing, serving, and presenting meals to a high standard, while maintaining cleanliness and complying with safety and safeguarding procedures.

Applicants should have excellent customer service skills, a flexible can-do attitude, and be a team player ready to work across catering settings, including events

Qualifications

• Support the preparation, service, and presentation of food to a high standard.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across kitchen and service areas.
• Assist with food labelling, temperature checks, and allergen controls.
• Provide excellent customer service to pupils, staff, and visitors.
• Set up and clear service areas, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
• Follow all food safety, health & safety, and safeguarding procedures.
• Contribute to hospitality events and occasional out-of-hours functions.
• Have a good Health & Safety knowledge and be flexible with a can-do attitude.
