Blackhorse Primary School in South Gloucestershire is seeking a friendly Kitchen Assistant to join our team. You will support the delivery of a high-quality, healthy school meals service during term time, Monday to Friday, 9am to 2pm.

The role suits someone who works well in a busy team, with basic food hygiene knowledge. Prior catering or customer service experience is desirable, and training can be provided to meet health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a catering or school meal service is desirable.
• Basic understanding of food hygiene and health and safety (training available).
• Ability to work as part of a busy team and support pupils during lunchtimes.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of high-quality, healthy meals to pupils during term time.
• Assist with serving, cleaning and maintaining a safe, hygienic dining area.
