Job summary

South Lanarkshire Council is recruiting a Facilities Assistant (Catering) for St Leonards Primary School in East Kilbride. The role covers meal preparation in line with recipes and strict hygiene practices across storage, cooking and service areas.

You will work 20 hours per week during term time, Monday to Friday, 10am–2pm, with a starting hourly rate of £13.80. Joining the PVG scheme and basic recruitment checks may be required prior to appointment.

Responsibilities

• Preparing meals within recipe guidelines and undertaking all hygiene work practices in relation to the storage, preparation, cooking and service of food, including the cleaning of food production areas, equipment and utensils.
