Job summary

Northern Education Trust at Dyke House Academy in Hartlepool is seeking a reliable Kitchen Assistant to support a busy school kitchen. You will help with basic food preparation, maintain cleanliness, follow safety procedures, and assist with deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: carry out basic food preparation tasks to support daily meal service.
• Cleanliness & Hygiene: maintain kitchen, dining and surrounding areas to high standards of cleanliness.
• Safety & Compliance: follow health and safety procedures and take care of kitchen equipment.
• Stock & Logistics: assist with loading and unloading deliveries when required.
• Teamwork: be a team player and participate in training as needed.
