Northern Education Trust is seeking a Kitchen Assistant for Dyke House Academy to support the Chef Manager in delivering nutritious meals for students during term time. You will help keep the kitchen clean, safe, and compliant with health and safety standards.

As a reliable team player, you will assist with basic food prep, maintain Hygiene and assist with stock and delivery tasks, while upholding GDPR and safeguarding regulations.

Responsabilités

• Food preparation: carry out basic food preparation tasks to support daily meal service.
• Cleanliness & hygiene: maintain the kitchen, dining and surrounding areas to high standards.
• Safety & compliance: properly use and care for kitchen machinery while following health and safety procedures.
• Stock & logistics: assist with loading and unloading delivery and supply vehicles.
• Teamwork: undertake general tasks to ensure efficient food service and training as needed.
