Job summary

Meadowside Community Primary & Nursery School is seeking a catering assistant to engage with and support children during lunch times, ensuring meals are prepared and served in a nutritious way. Responsibilities include helping with food preparation and service, carrying out kitchen cleaning duties, and assisting with packing/unpacking of food and goods.

Training will be provided on working with children and safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children is preferred.
• Willingness to engage and support children during lunch times.
• Able to follow safety and hygiene guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and service of meals.
• Carry out cleaning duties in the kitchen.
• Assist with packing and unpacking of food and storage.
