Job summary

Berry Recruitment is seeking School Catering Assistants to work in the Prestwich area on a temporary basis. Roles include serving meals, helping with food preparation, and maintaining a clean kitchen during school hours (9am–2pm, Monday to Friday).

Ideal candidates will have an Enhanced DBS clearance (we can help you obtain one for a small fee) and complete online training for Food Hygiene, Safeguarding, and KCSIE. Immediate start offered.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one.
• Online training in Food Hygiene, Safeguarding, and KCSIE provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals to students and staff.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and wash up.
• Serve food politely and safely.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
• Assist with safeguarding duties.
