Berry Recruitment is seeking School Catering Assistants for the Oldham area to cover primary and secondary schools during term time. Roles run 9am-2pm, Monday to Friday with flexible hours to fit around commitments.

The positions are temporary and ideal for those wanting reliable part-time work in a friendly school setting. You will prepare and serve meals, maintain kitchen cleanliness, follow food safety guidelines, and support safeguarding duties.

Qualifications

• DBS clearance required; assistance available (£59.50).
• Online training in Food Hygiene, Allergen Awareness, Safeguarding and KCSIE (£2.50 each).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals to students and staff.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and equipment washing.
• Serve food in a friendly, professional manner.
• Follow food hygiene and safety standards.
• Assist with safeguarding duties.
