Job summary

Berry Recruitment is seeking School Catering Assistants in Helsby to support primary and secondary schools with flexible hours during term time. Roles are temporary and great for someone who can work during school hours.

Shifts run Monday to Friday, 10am to 2pm, with flexibility. You will prepare and serve meals, keep the kitchen tidy, follow food safety rules and assist with safeguarding duties. DBS clearance and online training are available through Berry Recruitment.

Qualifications

• DBS clearance required; Berry Recruitment can assist with obtaining it.
• Completion of online training in Food Hygiene, Allergen Awareness, Safeguarding and KCSIE.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food to students and staff.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness (washing up, cleaning).
• Serve food in a friendly, polite manner.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
• Assist with safeguarding duties.
