Job summary

Olive Dining Ltd in the United Kingdom seeks a part-time General Assistant to join our school catering team. You will help with front and back of house duties, assist in preparing meals and serving students and staff in a friendly, professional manner.

Role is term-time only (38 weeks) from 10am to 2pm, Monday to Friday, at £12.71 per hour. We value teamwork, growth, and a supportive environment with opportunities for career progression and training.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchens, school meals, hospitality, or customer-facing roles.
• Understanding of good food hygiene and health and safety.
• Hands-on approach to tasks and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Support front of house and back of house operations.
• Carry out general kitchen duties, including cleaning and preparing food.
• Serve meals to students and staff in a friendly, professional manner.
• Follow food hygiene, health and safety procedures at all times.
