Job summary

Benton Park School in Rawdon near Leeds is seeking a reliable General Kitchen Assistant to join our busy kitchen team. You will help prepare food and drinks, set up serving areas, wash crockery, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Health and Safety and Food Hygiene Regulations.
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of food and drinks on a daily basis and for a wide variety of events, within a fast-paced environment
• Set up the service and dining areas and deliver a positive dining experience
• Wash crockery, cutlery, cooking and serving utensils, all kitchen equipment, walls and floors in the kitchen and dining areas.
• Maintain excellent cleanliness throughout the kitchen and dining areas
• Ensure Health and Safety and Food Hygiene Regulations are adhered to
• Maintain effective food labelling system of prepared foods.
