Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a General Kitchen Assistant at Senacre Wood Primary School in Maidstone. The role covers serving food to pupils, keeping the dining area clean, and supporting lunchtime service.

Working with a small team, you’ll help prepare and serve meals, maintain hygiene, and help with deliveries and restocking. The position is term-time only, 38 weeks, 15 hours per week, Mon–Fri, 11:00–14:00, with permanent part-time status.

Qualifications

• A positive and reliable attitude.
• Teamwork and communication skills are essential.
• Good organisation and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a busy environment and prioritise tasks.
• Previous catering or food service experience is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and serving of food and beverages
