Job Title: Kitchen Assistant

Join us as a motivated and passionate Kitchen Assistant at Chartwells, working part-time contracted to 26 hours per week. Shift Pattern:
  • Monday: Mornings
  • Tuesday: Mornings
  • Wednesday: Mornings
  • Thursday: Mornings
  • Friday: Mornings
  • Saturday: Flexible
  • Sunday: Flexible

Please note: This role is contracted for 44 weeks per year.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing high-quality, delicious food to delight clients and customers
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas
  • Using machinery and equipment correctly
  • Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries
  • Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image
  • Adhering to Food Handling & Hygiene standards
  • Following Health & Safety regulations
  • Managing pressure, prioritizing tasks, and communicating effectively
  • Working well as part of a team
  • Being organized, reliable, and committed to success
  • Flexibility to work shifts and demonstrate excellent timekeeping
