An exciting opportunity has arisen for a School Improvement Manager to join our School Improvement team at Hampshire County Council.
Are you looking for a challenging and diverse role working as part of a friendly and supportive team, with an opportunity to make a real difference?
Leading a team of primary phase and subject inspectors you’ll work closely with headteachers, governors and others who have influence in school to meet the needs of individual learners and improve outcomes for all children and young people in the designated district council areas. You will be a senior Local Authority officer and as such will be expected to take on wider work across the county and influence and develop county practice and thinking. This role may also include some cross phase secondary / special improvement work.
You will have experience of being a headteacher of at least one primary school with a successful record in leading and supporting school improvement and the capacity to develop cross-phase work. You will have experience of project managing school improvement initiatives and you will also possess demonstrable people-management skills.
